We are looking for a data-driven and customer-focused Retention Marketing Manager to build, execute, and optimize strategies that improve customer retention, increase repeat purchases, and strengthen long-term customer relationships. This role will focus on maximizing customer lifetime value (LTV), improving engagement, and creating personalized customer journeys across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Retention Strategy
- Develop and execute retention marketing strategies to improve repeat purchase rates and customer loyalty.
- Build lifecycle marketing programs across acquisition-to-retention funnels.
- Design customer engagement plans for new, active, dormant, and high-value customer segments.
CRM & Lifecycle Marketing
- Manage CRM campaigns across Email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, and other owned channels.
- Create automated customer journeys including onboarding, replenishment, reactivation, cross-sell, and win-back campaigns.
- Personalize communication based on customer behavior and preferences.
Campaign Management
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive repeat orders and customer engagement.
- Develop A/B testing frameworks to improve campaign performance.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize messaging, timing, and segmentation.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report retention KPIs including:
- Repeat Purchase Rate
- Customer Lifetime Value (LTV)
- Retention Rate
- Churn Rate
- Average Order Value (AOV)
- Revenue from CRM channels
- Generate actionable insights using customer and campaign data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Growth, Performance Marketing, Product, Content, and Customer Support teams to improve customer experience.
- Work closely with design and content teams to create engaging communication assets.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in Retention Marketing, CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, Growth Marketing, or Customer Engagement.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Email, SMS, WhatsApp automation tools).
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle journeys, and personalization.
- Proficiency in analytics tools and reporting dashboards.
- Experience working with eCommerce, D2C, FMCG, consumer brands, or subscription businesses preferred.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
