Why This Role Matters
Retention is one of the strongest growth levers for D2C brands, and KwikEngage sits at the center of how merchants drive repeat purchases, customer engagement, and lifecycle growth. This role will help brands identify growth leaks, optimise lifecycle journeys, and improve retention revenue through AI-led workflows, automation, and personalization. You will directly influence merchant growth outcomes while shaping scalable retention playbooks across GoKwik’s ecosystem.
What You’ll Own
- Own retention strategy and execution for 15–30 D2C brands across categories and growth stages
- Audit and rebuild lifecycle journeys across WhatsApp, Email, and SMS flows
- Plan, execute, QA, and optimise campaigns and automations
- Build advanced segmentation, personalization, and retention workflows using AI-assisted operations
- Drive measurable retention revenue, repeat GMV, and ROI across merchant portfolios
- Analyse customer cohorts, repeat behaviour, AOV, seasonality, and campaign performance to generate actionable insights
- Leverage AI for segmentation queries, copy variants, reporting, QA, template translations, and post-campaign analysis
- Partner with Product, Strategy, and Customer Success teams to improve merchant outcomes and shape platform feedback loops
Who You Are
- 3–6 years of experience in retention, lifecycle, or CRM marketing within D2C, SaaS, or agency environments
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as MoEngage, CleverTap, WebEngage, Netcore, Klaviyo, KwikEngage, LimeChat, Wigzo, or Interakt
- Strong understanding of lifecycle journeys, segmentation, cohort analysis, and retention metrics
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort in dashboards, spreadsheets, RFM analysis, and campaign performance tracking
- Strong campaign execution and copywriting instincts, especially for WhatsApp-led engagement
- AI-native operator comfortable using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI systems in day-to-day workflows
- Strong understanding of D2C and eCommerce growth metrics including AOV, repeat cycles, COD vs prepaid behaviour, and retention levers
- Comfortable managing multiple merchant accounts in fast-paced environments with high ownership
