Role Description The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at The Pet Point locations in Delhi, India. This role oversees daily store operations, including staff scheduling, supervision, and performance management to ensure smooth functioning and high service standards. The Store Manager monitors inventory, merchandising, and product displays, ensuring shelves are fully stocked, organized, and aligned with brand guidelines. They handle customer escalations, resolve issues, and ensure that every visitor receives professional, friendly, and knowledgeable support. The role is responsible for maintaining store cleanliness and safety, managing cash and billing processes, reducing retail loss, and collaborating with grooming and veterinarian teams to deliver a seamless experience for pet parents. The Store Manager also tracks sales performance, implements promotional activities, and contributes to continuous improvements that drive customer satisfaction and store growth.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused mindset with skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service.
- Effective verbal and written Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and partners.
- Proven experience in Store Management, including staffing, operations, merchandising, and cash handling.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to safeguard inventory and minimize shrinkage.
- Experience in retail, preferably in pet care or related consumer products; prior supervisory or managerial experience is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Delhi, India, and manage a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Basic computer literacy for POS systems, inventory tracking, and reporting; familiarity with retail management software is a plus.
- Diploma or degree in business, retail management, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
