Role Description The Retail Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Ethera’s store in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, including managing staff schedules, supervising the sales floor, and ensuring the store is well-presented and aligned with brand standards. The manager will drive sales performance, monitor inventory, implement retail loss prevention measures, and uphold high levels of customer satisfaction through attentive service and effective customer issue resolution. They will train and mentor team members, track key performance metrics, and collaborate with leadership on local marketing initiatives and in-store events. The role requires hands-on presence in the store, active engagement with customers, and consistent reinforcement of Ethera’s customer-centric culture.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service, Customer Satisfaction, and Communication abilities.
- Proven Store Management experience in a retail environment, with the ability to lead teams and manage daily operations.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to protect inventory and maintain compliance with company policies.
- Experience in jewelry, luxury retail, or fashion retail is highly beneficial.
- Ability to analyze sales data, manage inventory systems, and use POS and basic office software tools.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team coaching, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Relevant education in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory when supported by strong experience.
