Role Description The Retail Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role is responsible for engaging customers in the showroom, understanding their requirements, and recommending suitable furniture solutions aligned with QCS’s consulting outcomes and partner offerings. The Retail Specialist manages product displays, maintains accurate product information, and supports inventory checks to ensure items are available and presented effectively. Daily tasks include providing informed assistance, handling inquiries and concerns, processing sales transactions, and contributing to store targets. The role also involves collaborating with the wider team to share customer feedback, support promotional activities, and uphold a high standard of store appearance and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Retail Sales and Customer Satisfaction skills to drive conversions and support store performance.
- Strong Product Knowledge to clearly explain furniture features, materials, and benefits.
- Customer Service and Communication skills to build rapport and handle queries professionally.
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, including weekends or extended hours as required.
- Prior experience in furniture, home décor, or retail environments is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and inventory tracking tools.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; further education in retail, business, or design is a plus.
