Role Description The Store Operations Manager role at Baazar Style Retail Ltd. in Gorakhpur is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing day-to-day store activities. This includes managing retail operations, supervising staff, ensuring adherence to company processes, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The Store Operations Manager will monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and support effective merchandising to optimize sales. The role also involves managing store budgets, supporting P&L performance, implementing loss prevention measures, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational guidelines. The individual will work closely with regional leadership to achieve sales targets, improve store efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Retail Operations and Operations Management skills to oversee daily store activities and staff performance.
Candidates should possess P&L Management skills to support budgeting, cost control, and profitability targets for the store.
Candidates should possess Inventory Control skills to manage stock levels, minimize shrinkage, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to ensure a positive shopping experience and handle inquiries and escalations effectively.
Candidates should have leadership and team management abilities, including coaching, scheduling, and performance feedback.
Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-informed decisions.
Prior experience in retail store management or supervisory roles is highly preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is beneficial, along with familiarity with POS systems and basic MS Office tools.
