Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Retail Salesperson role based in Sonipat. The Retail Salesperson will engage with walk-in and existing customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products from ProKitchen’s restaurantware, cutlery, crockery, and glassware ranges. Responsibilities include explaining product features and benefits, demonstrating product use where applicable, and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge. The role involves processing sales transactions, managing billing and receipts, and supporting inventory activities such as stock checks, replenishment, and visual merchandising. The Retail Salesperson will also handle customer inquiries and concerns, ensure a clean and organized showroom, and collaborate with the team to meet sales targets and deliver a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, including the ability to meet targets and close sales effectively.
- Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge skills, with the ability to learn and explain features of restaurantware, cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting with diverse customers in a professional manner.
- Previous experience in retail, kitchenware, hospitality supplies, or a related field is beneficial.
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and inventory management tools is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, handle merchandise safely, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or hospitality is an advantage.
