Role Description The Retail Salesperson role at Liberty Shoes Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. In this role, the team member will welcome customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable footwear and accessories that align with Liberty’s “Fashion is Comfort” philosophy. Daily responsibilities include demonstrating product features, ensuring accurate sizing and fit, processing sales transactions, and maintaining attractive and organized displays. The Retail Salesperson will handle customer queries, provide after-sales support, and assist in stock replenishment and inventory checks. The role also involves meeting sales targets, following store policies and procedures, and collaborating with colleagues to create a positive in-store experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills to engage customers and achieve store targets.
- Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge to explain features, benefits, and care instructions for footwear and accessories.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build rapport and handle inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Candidates should possess basic numeracy and point-of-sale (POS) operation skills to manage billing and cash handling accurately.
- Previous experience in retail, especially in footwear, fashion, or accessories, is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours (including weekends and holidays), and contribute effectively in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; additional training in retail or sales is an advantage.
