Job Summary
Philips Mobile India is hiring for the position of Central Retail Sales Management – Manager / Officer for its Head Office in Pune.
This is a purely office-based role responsible for managing and monitoring nationwide retail sales operations for both Feature Phones and Smartphones. The candidate will coordinate with field sales teams including ASMs and TSMs to ensure achievement of daily business goals related to Primary Sales, Secondary Sales, WOD, and Distributor Onboarding.
The ideal candidate should be highly analytical, process-driven, disciplined, and capable of managing large-scale sales operations through strong reporting, MIS, data analysis, and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
Central Sales Monitoring
- Monitor daily achievement of:
- Primary Sales
- Secondary Sales
- WOD (Width of Distribution)
- Retailer Billing
- New Distributor Onboarding
- Ensure daily target tracking and performance monitoring across regions.
- Coordinate with ASM & TSM teams for sales execution and follow-ups.
Secondary Sales Management
- Handle end-to-end secondary sales operations for:
- Feature Phones
- Smartphones
- Track sales productivity, retailer activation, and market movement.
- Ensure timely reporting and corrective action planning.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare and manage:
- Daily Sales Reports
- Secondary MIS
- WOD Reports
- Distributor Performance Reports
- Productivity Reports
- Strong command over:
- Excel
- Data Management
- Reporting Systems
- Sales Dashboards
- MIS Operations
Team Coordination
- Coordinate and manage large field sales teams from Head Office.
- Ensure daily reporting discipline from ASMs and TSMs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and follow-ups.
Distributor Management
- Support distributor onboarding process and sales tracking.
- Monitor distributor performance and market coverage.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate / MBA preferred
- Experience in Mobile Handset / Telecom / FMCG industry preferred
- Strong experience in:
- Retail Sales Operations
- Secondary Sales Management
- MIS & Reporting
- Excel & Data Analysis
- Team Coordination
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills

Important Note
- This role is completely office-based from Pune Head Office.
- No field sales work involved.
