Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Retail Sales Head to lead Biglilpeople’s retail growth journey. This role involves building and expanding our presence through Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) and Multi-Brand Outlets (MBOs) while driving strong sales performance from existing stores.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail business development, store profitability improvement, and team leadership, with the ability to scale Biglilpeople’s retail footprint and take store revenues to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Retail Expansion (EBOs & MBOs)
- Identify and onboard new EBO locations across Tier 1 & Tier 2 cities.
- Drive placement of Biglilpeople products in MBOs and regional retail chains.
- Negotiate commercial terms, store layouts, and visual merchandising standards.
- Build strong relationships with mall management, franchise partners, and MBO owners.
2. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve a target of ₹6 Cr in new retail business within 5 months.
- Increase per-store revenue from ₹5 lakhs/month to ₹12 lakhs/month through performance strategies.
- Implement localized promotions, cross-selling programs, and customer engagement campaigns.
- Monitor weekly sales performance and drive corrective action plans.
3. Retail Operations & Profitability
- Ensure stores operate within budgets while achieving sales targets.
- Review and improve store KPIs: conversion, footfall, AOV, and profitability.
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising and Marketing teams to strengthen in-store brand experience.
4. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and motivate the retail operations and store teams to deliver results.
- Build sales incentives and reward programs to drive performance.
- Conduct regular reviews with store managers and retail operations leads.
5. Business Planning & Reporting
- Develop short and long-term retail expansion plans and revenue forecasts.
- Present monthly business dashboards covering sales, performance, ROI, and new pipeline opportunities.
- Provide market insights on competitors, trends, and emerging retail formats.
Key KPIs (Performance Metrics):
· New business revenue
· Per-store monthly revenue uplift
· New store openings and MBO partnerships signed
· Sales growth MOM and store profitability metrics.
· Team performance & retail conversion rates.
· Brand visibility & VM compliance across channels.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
✔ 10–15 years of experience in retail business development and operations (apparel/lifestyle preferred).
✔ Proven success in launching and scaling EBOs and MBO networks.
✔ Strong understanding of retail P&L, sales analytics, and team leadership.
✔ Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
✔ Ability to deliver aggressive growth targets in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setup.
