Role Description The Retail Sales Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves welcoming customers to the showroom, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable AV and smart home automation products and solutions. The Retail Sales Assistant will demonstrate product features, explain technical concepts in clear language, and guide customers through the purchasing process. Daily responsibilities include handling inquiries, maintaining product displays, processing sales transactions, and supporting after-sales service coordination. The role also requires updating product knowledge, collaborating with the sales team to meet targets, and ensuring a positive and consistent customer experience in the store.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Experience capabilities.
- Effective Communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly and build rapport with diverse customers.
- Proven abilities in Retail Sales and Sales, preferably in consumer electronics, smart home, or technology products.
- Basic understanding of AV systems or smart home automation solutions, with willingness to learn and stay updated.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Chennai, including weekends or extended hours as business requires.
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems and maintaining accurate records of sales and customer interactions.
- Minimum high school diploma; a degree or diploma in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
- Prior experience in retail or showroom environments is preferred but motivated
