Role Description The Retail Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune. This role involves welcoming and assisting customers, understanding their needs, and providing product recommendations that reflect DailyObjects’ design philosophy and range of lifestyle essentials. The associate will handle point-of-sale transactions, maintain visual merchandising standards, ensure product displays are organized, and keep the store clean and well-presented. Daily tasks include explaining product features and benefits, managing stock on the floor, addressing customer queries and concerns, and supporting promotional activities or in-store events. The role also requires collaborating with the store team to meet sales targets, provide excellent customer experiences, and share customer feedback with management.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to meet individual and store targets.
- Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge skills to effectively explain features, benefits, and use cases of DailyObjects products.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage customers, build rapport, and resolve issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash handling, along with attention to detail in billing and inventory.
- Previous experience in retail, lifestyle, or consumer electronics stores is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts (including weekends and holidays), and collaborate in a fast-paced store environment.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; further education in business, retail management, or design-related fields is an advantage.
