Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage merchandising for multiple stores within the assigned region
2. Implement uniform visual merchandising guidelines across all outlets
3. Plan and execute seasonal, festive, and promotional saree displays
4. Monitor store-wise sales, stock levels, aging, and sell-through
5. Identify fast-moving and slow-moving saree designs and initiate transfers or replenishment
6. Coordinate with buying, planning, and warehouse teams for stock allocation
7. Conduct regular store visits and audits for pricing and stock accuracy
8. Train and guide store staff on saree product knowledge and selling techniques
9. Support new store launches, exhibitions, and festive expansions
10. Collect customer feedback and share market insights with HO teams
11. Ensure shrinkage control and compliance with company SOPs
Qualification & Experience Required for Retail Merchandiser
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Retail Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Textile, or any relevant field
- Diploma/Certification in Retail Management, Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising (preferred but not mandatory)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, reporting, and inventory management
- Understanding of sales analysis and retail operations
- 3–5+ Years Experience: Experience in merchandising strategy, team coordination, sales planning, inventory optimization, and client/vendor handling in Apparel Industry.
