We are looking for an execution-focused Retail Marketing Associate to lead our retail marketing vertical and drive footfall across our store network. This role will own end-to-end retail marketing—from store communication and mall partnerships to BTL activations, discovery platforms, and customer retention initiatives. You will be responsible for building strong on-ground brand presence, creating hyperlocal marketing opportunities, and ensuring every store becomes a high-impact consumer touchpoint. You will also lead a small team to execute initiatives across stores and cities.
Is this you?
● You have 4–6 years of experience in retail marketing, offline marketing, or BTL activations.
● You enjoy building strategies that translate directly into store footfall and sales.
● You are comfortable leading teams and managing multiple stakeholders—store teams, mall teams, vendors, and internal teams.
● You understand how on-ground marketing, discovery platforms, and customer communication work together to drive store traffic.
● You are highly organised, execution-driven, and comfortable managing multiple stores and campaigns simultaneously.
● You enjoy being on-ground and close to the consumer experience.
● Bonus if you have worked with fashion, lifestyle, or D2C retail brands.
What you’ll do ?
Own Retail Marketing Strategy
● Lead the retail marketing vertical with the primary objective of driving store footfall and brand visibility.
● Build and execute marketing plans that increase walk-ins, store engagement, and repeat visits.
Store Communication
● Oversee all in-store communication and promotional messaging across retail locations.
● Ensure consistent brand storytelling and campaign rollouts inside stores.
BTL & On-ground Activations
● Plan and execute BTL initiatives, hyperlocal activations, and retail marketing campaigns.
● Identify new opportunities to create high-impact brand moments at the store level.
Mall Marketing & Partnerships
● Build and maintain strong relationships with mall marketing teams.
● Ensure brand participation in mall-led campaigns, events, and promotions that drive store traffic.
Pop-ups & Cluster Displays
● Identify opportunities to create pop-ups, kiosks, and cluster displays in high-footfall areas to increase brand discovery.
Discovery Platforms & Footfall Channels
● Drive performance on discovery platforms like Magicpin, District, and other hyperlocal platforms.
● Ensure store listings, offers, and promotions are optimised to maximise visibility and visits.
Customer Retention Communication
● Lead store-level customer retention and engagement communication to drive repeat visits.
● Work with CRM systems to activate customer databases and increase store revisit rates.
Store Launch Marketing
● Own the marketing strategy and execution for new store launches, including events, promotions, and local awareness.
Team Leadership
● Lead and mentor a retail marketing team responsible for on-ground execution.
● Ensure smooth coordination between marketing, retail operations, VM, and brand teams.
Requirements
● 4–6 years of experience in retail marketing, offline marketing, or BTL activations.
● Experience managing multi-store retail marketing initiatives.
● Strong vendor, mall partner, and stakeholder management skills.
● Experience working with discovery platforms, store CRM, or footfall-driving platforms.
● Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns, stores, and teams simultaneously.
● Strong analytical mindset to measure footfall, campaign ROI, and store performance.
