Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Retail Manager role based in Coimbatore. The Retail Manager will oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, store presentation, and compliance with company policies. The role involves leading and coaching the retail team, setting performance expectations, scheduling shifts, and ensuring smooth coordination across all store functions. The Retail Manager will drive sales by monitoring key performance indicators, implementing sales initiatives, and ensuring that customers receive attentive and informed support. Day-to-day responsibilities also include handling customer queries and escalations, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction, preparing basic sales and inventory reports, and collaborating with senior management on store targets and promotional activities. The role requires active floor presence, problem-solving, and continuous improvement of store processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers, team members, and management.
- Proven Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with the ability to handle concerns, resolve issues, and build lasting customer relationships.
- Team Management and leadership skills, including coaching, motivating, scheduling, and performance management of store staff.
- Sales skills with experience in meeting targets, upselling, cross-selling, and monitoring daily and monthly sales performance.
- Prior experience in retail, real estate retail, or customer-facing operations is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in store operations and documentation.
- Comfort with basic POS systems, inventory tools, and MS Office or similar software.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Coimbatore and be available on weekends or extended hours as required by store operations.
