About The Role
We’re looking for someone to drive our retail expansion & store growth on-ground — from identifying the right locations to ensuring strong store performance. This role also involves working closely with franchise partners and existing stores to maintain consistency and drive results. Ideal for someone who enjoys being in the market and taking ownership of real-world business growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Take charge of physical retail growth — spotting where the next store should be, not just filling spaces.
• Build a strong network of brokers, mall teams, and local contacts to unlock prime retail opportunities.
• Own the journey from location shortlist → site visit → commercial closure → store launch.
• Be the go-to person for franchise partners — from onboarding to helping them run successful stores.
• Keep a close eye on store performance on-ground — sales, staff efficiency, and customer experience.
• Step in to fix underperforming stores by identifying gaps and driving quick action plans.
• Work closely with store teams to ensure visual appeal, stock flow, and overall vibe of the store is on point.
• Think hyperlocal — what works in Bangalore may not work in Hyderabad, and act accordingly.
• Ensure every store opened is not just active, but profitable and sustainable.
• Stay constantly plugged into the market — what competitors are opening, where the crowd is moving, and what locations are heating up.
What We're Looking For
• Someone who has spent time on-ground in retail — not just behind reports.
• Experience in opening stores / handling multiple outlets / managing territories.
• Comfortable juggling between numbers (sales, rent, ROI) and people (store teams, franchise owners).
• Knows how to negotiate rentals and close deals without overpaying.
• Has worked with or understands franchise models.
• Street-smart, fast-moving, and solution oriented.
• Doesn’t wait for instructions — figures things out and moves.
