Restaurant General Manager / Senior Operations Manager | KenyaWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Restaurant General Manager / Senior Operations Manager to oversee high-volume, upscale, and fine-dining operations. The ideal candidate will lead teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while maintaining strong financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of high-volume, upscale, or fine-dining restaurants.
- Lead, recruit, train, and manage large, diverse teams.
- Drive financial performance including budgeting, cost control, P&L management, and forecasting.
- Optimize revenue and implement cost-efficiency strategies.
- Manage food and beverage operations, including menu engineering and inventory control.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience and resolve complex guest issues.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to improve operations and brand consistency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including owners, executives, chefs, and partners.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven senior-level experience in restaurant management.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Expertise in financial management and revenue optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory standards.
- Strategic thinking and operational excellence mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Track record of improving profitability and team engagement.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: USD 1,000 – 1,200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
