Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Restaurant General Manager role based in North Goa. The Restaurant General Manager will oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff supervision, shift scheduling, and coordination between the kitchen and front-of-house teams. The role involves monitoring service standards, resolving guest issues, and ensuring a consistently high level of customer satisfaction. The General Manager will manage inventory and ordering, track sales, and support budgeting and cost control to maintain profitability. Responsibilities also include hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of team members, as well as implementing operational policies, health and safety standards, and brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong financial and operational acumen, including P&L Management and Budgeting skills.
- Proven focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to handle guest feedback professionally.
- Experience in Hiring, training, and developing restaurant or bar teams.
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, or similar leadership role in hospitality or similar
- Excellent communication, people management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a hands-on management style.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, hygiene and safety standards; familiarity with the Goa hospitality market is an advantage.
