Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Restaurant Captain to oversee daily floor operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in a Pan Asian restaurant and possess strong knowledge of Pan Asian cuisine, service standards, and guest engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant floor operations.
- Ensure smooth and efficient guest service at all times.
- Train and guide service staff on SOPs, grooming, and customer handling.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Take guest orders and provide recommendations based on menu knowledge.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for timely service.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure quick resolution.
- Monitor table setup, cleanliness, and overall restaurant ambiance.
- Assist in achieving sales targets and upselling menu items.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and restaurant policies.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Restaurant Captain or similar role.
- Mandatory experience in a Pan Asian cuisine restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of Pan Asian food, ingredients, and dining styles.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage team operations during busy service hours.
- Good customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Well-groomed, presentable, and professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Asian dining etiquette and cuisine pairing.
- Experience with POS systems and restaurant operations software.
- Ability to train and motivate team members.
