Job Summary
Burma Burma Restaurant & Tea Room is looking for an experienced and service-oriented Restaurant Captain to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong hospitality background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences while leading the service team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant service operations.
- Lead, guide, and motivate the service team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Welcome guests, assist with seating, and ensure a memorable dining experience.
- Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation, service quality, and hygiene.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order execution.
- Train and mentor team members on service standards and SOPs.
- Monitor table turnover and ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational and guest satisfaction goals.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Restaurant Captain or in a similar supervisory role.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, or premium hospitality establishments is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Customer-focused with a positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations, food & beverage service, and guest relations.
- Mumbai-based candidates preferred.
