<strong>Position Summary<br></strong><br>
</div><div>Resolution Health and Wellness Center is seeking a <strong>dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor</strong> to support individuals navigating substance use disorders. You will play a key role in helping patients achieve recovery through <strong>evidence-based counseling, treatment planning, and ongoing support</strong>.<br><br>
</div><div>This role is ideal for someone who is <strong>empathetic, motivated, and committed to long-term patient success</strong>.<br><br>

<strong>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Manage a <strong>structured caseload</strong> of patients </li>
<li> Conduct <strong>clinical assessments</strong> to identify contributing factors </li>
<li> Develop and implement <strong>individualized treatment plans</strong>
</li>
<li> Provide <strong>counseling, relapse prevention, and recovery support</strong>
</li>
<li> Collaborate with patients and families to promote sustainable outcomes </li>
<li> Maintain <strong>accurate clinical documentation</strong>
</li>
<li> Coordinate care with internal teams and external providers </li>

<strong>Qualifications<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Certification by the <strong>Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists</strong> in one of the following: <ul>
<li> CAC-AD </li>
<li> CSC-AD </li>
<li> LG-ADC </li>
<li> ADT </li>
</ul>
</li>
<li> Strong interpersonal and communication skills </li>
<li> Compassionate, patient-centered approach </li>
<li> Experience in substance use treatment preferred </li>
