Job Description.

Job Title : L2 System Administrator.

Location : Banaglore (Hybrid Mode).

Experience Required : 5-7 years in providing technical support to enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Tenant Configuration :

  • Hands-on experience in setting up and configuring cloud tenants for various functions/services like Exchange Online, MS Teams, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Defender, etc.
  • Experience using various migration tools for migration tasks.

Technical Support

Good knowledge and hands-on experience in Active Directory, O365, SharePoint, Desktop management, RIM, Patch management, antivirus management, mailbox management, client image management, package distribution, software inventory, policy/role-based access, provisioning and de-provisioning of accounts, device management, Exchange or O365 admin roles, data encryption, network drive access, and MFA.

Installation And Maintenance

  • Installation, upgradation, configuration, maintenance, patch/package management, and troubleshooting of operating systems and services.

Networking

  • Understanding of hardware, software, and TCP/IP networking principles.
  • Network management (LAN, WAN, DHCP, TCI/IP, SMTP, SNMP).
  • VPN, Internet concepts, network technical support, networking concepts, Internet fundamentals, VOIP, IP routing and switching, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP administration.

Virtualization

  • Knowledge of virtualization technology like VMware ESX/ESXi, template creation, and deployment.

Software And Tools

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office, patch management, anti-malware, desktop/laptop imaging, antivirus, and inventory management tools.

User Account Management

  • User account creation for Active Directory, Exchange mailboxes, and distribution lists.
  • Configuration management, access control, security, server health monitoring, and database management.

Patching And Upgrading

  • Patching and upgrading of PCs - routine upgrades that cannot be performed remotely.

Imac

  • Installations, moves, adds, and changes (IMACs).

Automation

  • Creating custom scripts to automate support processes where applicable.

Identity And Governance

  • Managing Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) objects, such as users, groups, and devices.
  • Managing role-based access control (RBAC), Azure policies, resource locks, and tags.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of technical support experience for enterprise customers.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, O365, SharePoint, desktop management, patch management, antivirus, mailbox management, and MFA.
  • Experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of operating systems and services.
  • Understanding of hardware, software, and TCP/IP networking principles.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technology (VMware ESX/ESXi).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, patch management, anti-malware, antivirus, and inventory management tools.
  • Network management skills (LAN, WAN, DHCP, TCP/IP, SMTP, SNMP).
  • User account creation for Active Directory, Exchange mailboxes, and distribution lists.
  • Configuration management, access control, server health monitoring, and database management.
  • VPN, networking, VOIP, IP routing and switching, and TCP/IP administration.
  • ITIL Certification is a must.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and strategic mindset.
