Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Residential Counsellor based in Chennai. The Residential Counsellor will provide emotional guidance and support to individuals, ensuring their mental and emotional well-being. Responsibilities include overseeing daily interactions, offering case management support, addressing mental health concerns, and fostering healthy relationships through effective communication and counseling practices. The counsellor will also collaborate with team members to create a nurturing and supportive environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Human Services and Case Management
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills to foster relationships and build trust
- Understanding of Psychology and Mental Health principles to provide effective counseling
- Previous experience in residential counseling or related roles is advantageous
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field is preferred
