Job Summary
Senior BIM Model & Take-off Engineer – High-End Residential (U.S Market) we are a growing U.S.-based construction company specializing in high-end residential and large-scale custom homes. We are seeking an experienced BIM Model & Take-off Engineer to support our preconstruction and estimating team. This is a critical role that directly impacts project accuracy, budgeting, and execution. If you are highly detail-oriented, understand real-world construction systems (not just modelling), and can produce clean quantity take-offs — we want to speak with you.
Role Overview You will be responsible for:
Developing and managing detailed BIM models (Revit preferred).
Performing accurate quantity take-offs from construction drawings.
Creating organized material quantity reports for estimating and procurement.
Supporting cost analysis and scope breakdowns.
Coordinating with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and project managers.
Identifying design conflicts and constructability issues during preconstruction.
Maintaining organized documentation and revision tracking.
Supporting value engineering efforts through model analysis.
This position supports preconstruction, estimating, and project execution.
Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with:
Revit
AutoCAD
Blue beam
Plan Swift (or similar takeoff software)
Proven experience performing detailed construction quantity take-offs.
Strong understanding of construction assemblies and building systems.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience working with U.S. construction standards.
Preferred Experience
Luxury residential or large custom homes (U.S. market).
Knowledge of CSI divisions.
Experience working directly with general contractors.
Familiarity with construction cost estimating processes
