Role Description The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) will provide on-site medical care and clinical oversight for clients engaging with Healthy Owl Wellness programs in Pune City. This full-time role includes conducting medical assessments, monitoring client health status, reviewing diagnostic reports, and creating or updating treatment plans aligned with holistic wellness protocols. The RMO will coordinate with wellness coaches and other healthcare professionals, offer evidence-based medical guidance, and ensure safe integration of medical care with nutrition, mental health, and lifestyle interventions. Daily responsibilities also include managing clinical documentation, responding to acute medical needs, guiding clients on preventive health measures, and supporting quality standards and compliance with relevant regulations. The role is based on-site, requiring close interaction with clients and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine, with appropriate medical degree (BAMS | BHMS or equivalent) and valid registration with relevant medical council.
- Demonstrated Patient Care skills, including clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment follow-up, and empathetic communication.
- Experience in Training, such as educating clients, mentoring junior staff, or conducting health awareness sessions.
- Exposure to Surgery or surgical care coordination, including pre- and post-operative management and referral processes as required.
- Proven ability in Working with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams, collaborating effectively with specialists, wellness experts, and allied health professionals.
- Knowledge of preventive and lifestyle medicine, with interest in holistic wellness, mental health, nutrition, and occupational health.
- Strong clinical documentation skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with basic medical software or electronic health records.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ethical practice, and ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Willingness to work full time on-site in Pune City and participate in shift or emergency duty schedules as needed.
