Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Resident Medical Officer role based at Batra Heart & Multispeciality Hospital in Faridabad. The Resident Medical Officer will provide round-the-clock medical care, including initial assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring of inpatients and emergency cases under the supervision of senior consultants. Responsibilities include taking detailed histories, performing clinical examinations, ordering and interpreting basic investigations, and documenting all care in medical records. The role involves coordinating with consultants and nursing teams, implementing treatment plans, managing routine procedures, and responding promptly to clinical changes. The Resident Medical Officer will also support pre- and post-operative care, ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards, communicate effectively with patients and families, and participate in clinical audits, trainings, and case discussions.
Qualifications
- MBBS with 2 + year experience in emergency handling Strong foundation in Medicine with the ability to assess, diagnose, and manage common inpatient and emergency conditions.
- Demonstrated Patient Care skills, including compassionate bedside manner, clear communication, and focus on safety and quality outcomes.
- Experience Working with Physicians, including coordinating with consultants, multidisciplinary teams, and nursing staff in a hospital setting.
- Basic exposure to Surgery and perioperative care, including pre-operative assessment, post-operative monitoring, and management of routine post-surgical needs.
- Willingness to participate in Training activities such as case discussions, CMEs, protocol updates, and skill-building sessions.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution and valid registration with the relevant medical council.
- Prior hospital experience as a Resident / Junior Medical Officer or in a similar clinical role is preferred.
- Ability to work in shifts, handle high-pressure clinical situations, and follow hospital policies, infection control, and ethical standards.
