Role Description The Resident Facilities, Housekeeping and Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This position is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping activities, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep of all residential and operational areas. The role includes managing facility maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs, and supervising service staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The Manager will monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and operational materials, coordinate with vendors, and implement safety and compliance standards across the facility. This role also involves developing and improving standard operating procedures, training staff, addressing resident or guest concerns, and working closely with leadership to support efficient, high-quality facility operations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in facilities management, housekeeping supervision, and day-to-day operations in residential, hospitality, or similar settings.
- Strong skills in staff supervision, team coordination, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
- Ability to oversee maintenance activities, manage vendors, and ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in organizing inventories, tracking supplies, and implementing efficient operational processes.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to address resident or guest issues professionally and promptly.
- Comfort with basic digital tools for reporting, documentation, and coordination (e.g., email, spreadsheets, facility management software).
- Prior experience in residential community management, hospitality operations, or agro-based/food production environments is an advantage.
- Relevant education in hospitality management, facilities management, operations, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
