Position: Resident Engineer (S&T)
Location: Madhya Pradesh
Site Deployment
Missions/Main Duties
- Supervise and manage on-site engineering activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies, to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines and quality.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates to the project manager and clients.
- Ensure all engineering works are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
Profile/Skills
Professional Qualification
- Essential: Diploma in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferred:
- Graduate degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Degree/Diploma in Project Management/Construction Management or Fellow of Institution of Engineers/Institution of Railway Signal & Telecommunication Engineers.
Total Professional Experience
- At least 10 years for Graduate Engineers or 15 years for Diploma Engineers.
Relevant Experience
- At least 3 years in Gazette Cadre of S&T department in Railways or equivalent roles in organizations like RVNL/RITES/IRCON.
- Alternatively, 5 years as In-charge or one level below in signalling construction projects.
