Role Description The Reservations Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the reservations desk. This role includes managing room reservations, ensuring accurate and timely booking entries, monitoring inventory and rate parity, and coordinating with front office and sales teams to optimize occupancy and revenue. The Reservations Supervisor reviews reservation requests, responds to guest inquiries, and ensures that booking standards and policies are consistently followed. The role involves coaching and guiding reservations team members, handling escalated guest concerns, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Reservations Supervisor also assists in preparing reservation reports, tracking performance metrics, and contributing to process improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong reservations and booking management skills, including experience with hotel reservation systems and inventory control.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with guests and internal teams.
- Proven customer service and customer satisfaction focus, with experience in handling guest queries and resolving issues.
- Experience in training and guiding team members, including onboarding and ongoing skills development.
- Previous supervisory or senior reservations experience in hospitality is preferred.
- Knowledge of revenue management basics and familiarity with room rates, promotions, and distribution channels is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Business, or a related field is desirable.
