Role Description The Reservations Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The individual in this role will handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels, ensuring accurate bookings and modifications while maintaining high service standards. Daily responsibilities include confirming room availability, providing guests with clear information on rates and amenities, and updating reservation systems with complete and accurate data. The Reservations Associate will coordinate with front office and revenue teams to optimize occupancy and resolve booking-related issues. This role also involves following standard operating procedures, managing payment and cancellation policies, and delivering a professional, guest-focused experience in every interaction.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and courteously with guests and internal teams.
- Comfort with reservation systems, hotel property management software, and basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and online booking platforms).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings, guest data, rate plans, and payment or cancellation terms.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple inquiries, prioritize tasks, and meet response or booking timelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and guest satisfaction.
- Prior experience in reservations, front office, or hospitality operations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English; additional local language skills are beneficial.
- Minimum educational qualification: diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.
