Role Overview
Jaipur Rugs is looking for a passionate and driven Researcher with a strong academic foundation and a proven track record of independent research and publications. The ideal candidate will possess intellectual curiosity, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to derive actionable insights through both qualitative and quantitative research. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research aligned with organizational and business goals
- Design research frameworks, methodologies, and detailed documentation
- Collect, clean, and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data
- Utilize data analytics tools to generate insights and support decision-making
- Publish research papers, reports, and knowledge materials
- Present research findings through reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research and data-driven initiatives
- Stay updated with the latest academic developments, industry trends, and data practices
Requirements
- PhD Scholar (completed) with a strong academic background
- Proven experience in independently publishing research papers
- PhD research topic must align with organizational/business-related areas (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with research methodologies and data analysis
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SPSS, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, Writing ability and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Exposure to interdisciplinary or applied research
- Experience in social impact, sustainability, or craft-based sectors
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
