Job Profile for Research Scientist (Pharmacology/Medicinal Chemistry /Natural Products Chemistry):
The Research Scientist (Pharmacology/Medicinal Chemistry/Natural Products Chemistry) is responsible for the scientific documentation of all aspects of pharmacology and characterization of phytochemicals, with a focus on the stereochemistry of bioactive molecules and structure-activity relationships. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about natural product chemistry, drug discovery, and phytochemical research. The role requires a PhD or Master’s degree in Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, Phytochemistry, or a related field, with expertise in scientific writing on natural product chemistry.
Qualification & Experience:
- Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Products Chemistry, or a related field.
- M.Pharm./M.Sc. Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, and natural products chemistry, preferably in academia, with high-quality research and review publications.
- Expertise in natural product research, stereochemical concepts, classification of phytochemicals, ChemDraw, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Understanding of common human diseases, disease mechanisms, pathophysiology, diagnostics, and treatments.
- Excellent scientific writing and verbal communication skills, with a strong publication record in Scopus-indexed journals (h-index should be >10).
- Strong collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Regulatory and Technical Documentation
- Science Communication and Public Education - Create articles, brochures, booklets, or blog posts for non-scientific audiences.
- Collaboration and Peer Interaction - Participate in scientific discussions, presentations, and conferences to disseminate phytochemical research.
