Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Medicinal Chemistry Research Scientist who will actively contribute to small molecule drug discovery programs through bench-level synthesis, purification, and characterization of compounds. This role requires strong laboratory skills, scientific rigor, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Designation - Research Scientist/Sr. Research Scientist
- Grade - Jr. Executive/Executive/Sr. Executive
- Experience - 3-10 years in Medicinal Chemistry
- Qualification - M. Sc Organic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry
- Location - Hyderabad (Shamirpet - ICICI Knowledge park)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute multi-step organic synthesis of small molecules
- Perform purification techniques such as chromatography (flash, prep HPLC)
- Conduct compound characterization using NMR, LC-MS, and other analytical tools
- Maintain accurate lab notebooks and documentation of experiments
- Troubleshoot reactions and optimize synthetic routes
- Collaborate with biology, DMPK, and analytical teams to support project goals
- Ensure adherence to lab safety and compliance standards
