About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Research Psychologist to join our academic team as a PhD Guide & Research Supervisor. The selected candidate will play a key role in mentoring doctoral scholars, guiding research work, supporting coursework, and ensuring high academic and research standards throughout the PhD journey of Psychology scholars.
This position is ideal for a passionate academic who enjoys research supervision, scholarly writing, and mentoring future researchers in psychology.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and mentor PhD scholars throughout their research journey.
* Guide scholars in selecting and refining research topics and research methodology.
* Review and provide feedback on research proposals, synopsis, literature reviews, and thesis drafts.
* Ensure research quality, academic integrity, and compliance with ethical research standards.
* Assist in planning and delivering PhD coursework, research methodology sessions, and academic workshops.
* Support scholars in data analysis, interpretation of results, and scientific writing.
* Provide guidance on journal publications, conference papers, and research presentations.
* Monitor scholar progress and maintain appropriate academic documentation.
* Collaborate with the academic and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of doctoral programs.
Eligibility Criteria
* PhD in Psychology from a recognized university.
* Minimum 10 years of academic, research, or research supervision experience after completion of the PhD.
* Demonstrated experience in guiding postgraduate or doctoral research.
* Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
* Excellent academic writing, reviewing, and mentoring skills.
* Experience with research tools, statistical analysis, and publication processes is preferred.
* Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Published research in reputed national or international journals.
* Experience serving as a PhD guide, thesis evaluator, or research mentor.
* Familiarity with APA formatting, plagiarism standards, and research ethics.
* Experience in interdisciplinary or applied psychology research will be an added advantage.
