Role Overview : We are seeking a Research & Program Associate to support our ecosystem-building managers in startup engagement and incubator/VC mapping. This role is ideal for someone with strong research skills, analytical ability, and program coordination experience who wants to enable large-scale impact in India’s deep tech ecosystem. You’ll work closely with the Startup Engagement Manager and Ecosystem Partnerships Manager, providing the research backbone and execution support needed to deliver programs and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Research & Mapping: Conduct in-depth research on startups, incubators, CoEs, VCs, corporates, and academia. Maintain and update ecosystem databases, trackers, and intelligence reports.
- Program Support: Assist in designing and coordinating startup programs, workshops, and interventions. Manage documentation, logistics, and follow-ups for ecosystem events and initiatives.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Support relationship management with startups, incubators, and ecosystem partners. Prepare briefing notes, reports, and decks for leadership and external engagements.
- Insights & Reporting: Track emerging deep tech trends and provide actionable insights. Develop summaries, case studies, and research notes to inform decision-making.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1-2 years in research, startup ecosystem roles, consulting, program management, or innovation environments.
- Strong research, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work with data, insights, and frameworks.
- Good at program coordination, stakeholder follow-up, and execution support.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM/tools a plus.
- Mindset: Curious, detail-oriented, mission-driven, and eager to grow in the deep tech ecosystem space.
- Engineer / MBA / Graduate in Economics, Political science, etc
