About the Role
We’re building ReviewAndRatings.com, a platform where readers can discover books, track their reading journey, and be part of a growing reading community.
We’re looking for a Research Intern who enjoys exploring ideas, reading across topics, and finding meaningful information.
This is an early-stage, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with the founder on research related to books, authors, publishing, and reader behavior.
This role is for someone who likes going deep into topics, not just skimming the surface.
You won’t just collect information — you’ll help us understand what matters.
What You’ll Work On
• Researching books, authors, genres, and reading trends
• Finding and organizing information for platform content
• Supporting research for blog posts, features, and reader resources
• Studying other book platforms, communities, and publishing trends
• Helping with author and book discovery
• Assisting in content planning through research insights
• Working closely with the founder on ongoing ideas and projects
If it involves understanding books, readers, or the reading space — you’ll be part of it.
What We’re Looking For
• Someone who enjoys reading, researching, or learning new topics
• Curious and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently
• Good at finding reliable information online
• Interested in books, media, publishing, or content
• Willing to take ownership instead of waiting for instructions
Why This Role
This is not a typical internship.
You’ll be working directly with the founder, contributing to a live platform, and helping build something from the ground up.
This role is for someone who wants real learning, real involvement, and real responsibility.
Duration
2 months (Remote), Flexible timing.
Compensation
Unpaid (2 months, early-stage role)
This role is best suited for someone who wants experience, ownership, and the chance to work closely in an early-stage startup environment.
