We are looking for a highly driven and analytical Research Intern to support our MedTech investment research and transaction advisory efforts.
Role Overview
As a Research Intern at Delego Capital, you will work directly with the investment banking and strategy team on live buy-side mandates involving healthcare and MedTech companies.
The role involves conducting deep market research, identifying acquisition targets, analyzing industries and competitors, and building investment intelligence for institutional investors and funds.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify MedTech companies aligned with investment mandates
- Build target company lists across healthcare and medical technology sectors
- Conduct industry mapping, competitor analysis, and market sizing
- Analyze business models, growth potential, and investment attractiveness
- Track trends in:
- Medical Devices
- Diagnostics
- Digital Health
- AI in Healthcare
- Healthcare SaaS
- Biotech & Life Sciences
- Prepare research reports, investment briefs, and presentations
- Support the team in live buy-side acquisition and fundraising mandates
- Collect and organize data from company websites, databases, industry reports, and public filings
- Assist in preparing investor materials and strategic insights
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in:
- Finance
- Biotechnology
- Life Sciences
- Biomedical Engineering
- Healthcare Management
- Business/Economics
- Strong analytical and internet research skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and research tools
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise insights
- High attention to detail and strong work ethic
Preferred Skills
- Interest in Investment Banking, VC, PE, or M&A
- Understanding of startup ecosystems and healthcare markets
- Familiarity with financial research and company profiling
- Experience with market research or strategy projects
