Role Description The Research Fellow will work full time on-site at Chennai Research Foundation’s facility in Chennai. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and conducting research projects related to various fields of biotechnology, biophysics and Nanotechnology, as well as collecting, organizing, and analyzing data. The role involves preparing technical reports, research papers, and presentations, and contributing to training materials and consultancy assignments. The Research Fellow will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, support grant proposals, and assist in peer-reviewed publications. The position also requires staying current with relevant scientific literature and contributing to the foundation’s ongoing research agenda.
Qualifications
M.Tech.,M.Sc., Ph.D in relevant fields with relevant research experience.
Demonstrated interest in sustainability is an advantage.
- Strong foundation in biotechnology, biophysics, Nanotechnology, sustainability, or environmental science, with the ability to apply concepts to real-world problems.
- Proficiency in data analysis and research methods, including statistical tools, modeling software.
- Ability to write clear technical reports, research articles, and documentation suitable for publication and stakeholder communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality in research outputs.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and engage with industry or academic partners.
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability, renewable energy, or climate-related topics, and willingness to learn new tools and methods.
