Position: Research & Documentation Trainee
Location: Bangalore (Jayanagar)
Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-time / Trainee
We are looking for a trainee from a generalist academic background who is strong in reading, writing, structuring information, and turning raw inputs into clear, professional outputs.
This role will involve working on research and documentation across projects related to strategy, infrastructure, public sector advisory, smart cities, digital transformation, proposals, DPRs, RFPs, presentations, and meeting documentation. The selected candidate will work closely with founders and senior stakeholders and should be able to understand requirements quickly, think clearly, and deliver with accuracy and discipline.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct focused and efficient market research on a variety of topics using credible sources
- Support preparation of DPRs, RFPs, proposals, presentations, research notes, and meeting minutes
- Convert discussions, rough inputs, and guidance into structured written outputs
- Organize, summarize, and present information clearly, accurately, and professionally
- Assist in formatting, reviewing, and improving documents for quality and consistency
- Deliver work with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail
Who we are looking for:
- Strong written and spoken English
- Good research, comprehension, and note-making skills
- Ability to structure information logically and clearly
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to understand senior stakeholder expectations and deliver accordingly
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Workspace
Preferred academic backgrounds:
- Mass Communication / Journalism
- English / Literature
- Business / Management
- Economics / Public Policy / Social Sciences
- Other generalist disciplines with strong writing and analytical ability
