Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative tea and coffee products, including blends and specialty beverages.
- Create and optimize formulations based on market trends, consumer insights, and sensory evaluations.
- Conduct tea tasting, coffee cupping, and sensory analysis to ensure consistent quality.
- Source and evaluate tea leaves, coffee beans, herbs, spices, and other beverage ingredients.
- Develop new products from concept through pilot trials to commercial production.
- Standardize recipes, manufacturing processes, and product specifications.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales teams during product development.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI and applicable food safety and quality standards.
- Maintain R&D documentation, technical specifications, and product records.
- Continuously explore emerging trends in tea, coffee, wellness beverages, and functional ingredients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Beverage Technology, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in R&D, product development, blending, or quality within the tea, coffee, or beverage industry.
- Hands-on experience in tea blending, coffee cupping, sensory evaluation, and product formulation is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
