Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Research Development Design Engineer. The role involves working on the design, development, and implementation of innovative floating PV solutions in the renewable energy sector. Key responsibilities include conducting research, developing designs, creating and optimizing products, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) tools. The selected candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet high standards of technical performance and quality.
Qualifications
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D) for the renewable energy sector
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and expertise in Product Design to create and improve engineering solutions
- Skill in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for technical drawings and 3D modeling
- Knowledge of Product Development processes, focusing on delivering high-quality and cost-effective outcomes
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals
- Understanding of renewable energy frameworks and floating PV technologies is an added advantage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
