Job Purpose
The role is designed to build a strong internal capability in fund markets, private capital, and International Financial Centers (IFCs) through rigorous research, structured analysis, and actionable intelligence.
The incumbent will act as a strategic research point of contact (POC) who tracks global fund trends, compares jurisdictions, maps ecosystems, and converts complex market information into clear insights for leadership and internal teams.
This is a thought-partner role, not a data-entry role — expected to combine research, analysis, and narrative to support strategic decision-making around fund ecosystems and financial centers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Funds & Alternatives Research
Conduct in-depth research on:
Private Equity (PE)
Venture Capital (VC)
Fund of Funds (FoF)
Hybrid and alternative fund structures
Study global trends in fund domiciliation, structuring, and regulation
Track tax, compliance, and policy shifts impacting fund jurisdictions
2. IFC & Ecosystem Mapping
Build comparative analysis of major International Financial Centers
Map key stakeholders including regulators, administrators, legal firms, custodians, and asset managers
Identify why certain IFCs attract specific types of funds and investors
3. Strategic Insights & Reporting
Translate technical fund concepts into simple, leadership-ready briefs
Prepare concise executive notes, presentations, and intelligence updates
Highlight risks, opportunities, and emerging trends in private capital markets
4. Data & Market Analysis
Analyse fund flows, investor behavior, and geographic shifts in capital
Track emerging markets across Asia, Middle East, and Europe
Monitor global policy developments relevant to fund ecosystems
5. Internal Collaboration
Work closely with leadership teams
Support internal discussions with evidence-based research
Act as a knowledge bridge between research and decision-making teams
We prefer those who have strong understanding of:
Private Equity (PE)
Venture Capital (VC)
Fund structures and jurisdictions
Research & analytical skills
Ability to simplify complex financial concepts
Excellent written communication
