Rupa Rahul Bajaj Center for Environment and Art (RRBCEA) located on the premises of
Empress Botanical Garden, Pune is looking for Research assistant with subject expertise

The work involves planning and conducting research projects related to urban green spaces.
An ideal candidate would be a person with research aptitude and subject expertise in ecology/
environmental sciences/ biodiversity.
The candidate should have relevant experience of field work in urban areas.
This is a full-time position
The job will require the Research assistant to:
1. Plan and execute research projects in Empress Botanical Garden as well as other
locations within Pune city
2. On ground data collection, analysis, writing reports and/ or research papers
3. Coordinating and guiding volunteers, interns, citizen scientists for various research
projects
Eligibility: BSc/ MSc in Life Sciences/ Botany/ Zoology/ Biodiversity/ Environmental
Sciences or allied fields. Proficiency in oral and writing skills in English, Hindi, Marathi. 1-2
years’ experience of field work, expertise in working with plants/ insects/ birds is desired.
Candidates residing in Pune will be given preference.
