Applications are invited for the position of Research Assistant at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, École Centrale School of Engineering, Mahindra University, Hyderabad, for a funded research project at Mahindra University. The selected candidate will work with Dr. Kondaiah.P. on the development of a data-driven research platform for magnetoelectric composites integrating literature data, computational data, machine learning, and inverse-design approaches.

Qualifications
- A master’s degree (M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc. or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or a relevant discipline from a recognized institution with >65% qualifying percentage.
- Basic knowledge of Python and data analysis is desirable.
- Familiarity with machine learning, artificial intelligence, scientific computing, or computational modelling will be an advantage.
- Candidates with an interest in interdisciplinary research involving functional materials, sensors, AI/ML, and computational materials research are encouraged to apply.
- Good scientific literature reading, data interpretation, and documentation skills.
- Fulfilment of any additional requirements prescribed by the University from time to time.
- The selected candidate will be encouraged to enroll in a Ph.D. program at Mahindra University (through a separate call), if interested.
