Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Research Assistant at AnvirX. The Research Assistant will support research projects by gathering, organizing, and analyzing data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Daily responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, preparing research summaries and reports, and assisting with the design and documentation of research methodologies. The role may involve basic laboratory tasks (where applicable), maintaining records, and supporting data collection and quality control processes. The Research Assistant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate findings clearly, and help prepare presentations or materials for internal stakeholders and client-facing deliverables.
Qualifications
- Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to gather, evaluate, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
- Proficiency in data analysis, with experience using spreadsheets or basic analytical tools to interpret and present data clearly.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex information for different audiences.
- Foundational laboratory skills (if applicable to project scope), including attention to protocol, documentation, and safety standards.
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in managing data, documentation, and project timelines.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Data Science, or related discipline), or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with research methodologies, statistics, or research software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, or similar) is an advantage.
- Demonstrated interest in technology-enabled services, process improvement, or digital operations is beneficial.
