- Understand the requirements and work with different teams.
- Create design concept and detail engineering
- Design considering manufacturability, cost, performance and durability.
- Conduct design review to improve product performance and resolve technical issues.
- Knowledge in GD&T,
- Good knowledge in Tooling, fixture and jigs would be a plus.
- Knowledge of manufacturing / production / assembly processes would be a plus.
- Hands on experience in various manufacturing processes would be a plus.
- Good knowledge on any of the 3D modeling software (SolidWorks).
- Good in engineering mechanics, strength of materials & theory of machines.
- A good grasp of engineering and design principles 12. experience in sheet metal design, machine design, material handling equipment design etc.
- Experience with prototype testing and evaluation is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges.
- Document and maintain comprehensive design specifications, technical reports, and project documentation
