Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Research and Development Specialist, based in Chennai. The R&D Specialist will be responsible for conducting advanced research, developing innovative solutions, analyzing wireless communication standards, and contributing to their evolution. The role involves actively engaging in design, simulation, testing, and implementation of new technologies, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to address industry challenges and create impactful contributions to the wireless technology domain. Also to be a 3GPP delegate and participate in the on-going global standardization process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis, and simulation tools
- Proven skills in developing and testing AI based algorithms, and solving complex technical challenges
- Strong programming knowledge and familiarity with software development tools
- Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts effectively
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- Previous experience in wireless technology research is highly advantageous
