Internship Overview
This full-time, on-site internship is for students or fresh graduates who are motivated to work hands-on in energy storage technologies. You’ll be actively involved in ongoing research and product development projects, with real technical responsibilities from day one.
⚠️ Note: Only candidates willing to work full-time, on-site, and with a strong interest in startups will be considered.
Who Should Apply?
You're an ideal candidate if you:
- Are a student or recent graduate (B.Tech / M.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc) in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related fields.
- Have a strong interest in working in a startup—embracing fast learning, ambiguity, and hands-on responsibility.
- Are available for full-time on-site work for the entire internship period.
- Have skills or project experience in at least one of the technical areas listed below.
Preferred Technical Skills
Experience through academic projects, internships, or personal work in any of the following is required:
- Battery Modeling using Equivalent Circuit Models (ECMs)
- Cell-level Modeling using PyBaMM
- Electrochemical Modeling using PyBaMM and/or COMSOL Multiphysics
- Power Electronics Design and PCB Design using Altium, Eagle, KiCAD, or similar tools
- CAD Modeling, FEA, and CFD Analysis using SolidWorks, ANSYS, COMSOL, etc.
- Software development and application of AI/ML for energy management systems (EMS) and performance tracking software
Key Responsibilities
- Develop battery models, perform simulations and lab test for electrical, thermal, and electrochemical behavior.
- Lead prototype development, support manufacturing processes, and contribute to end-to-end system integration.
- Work on design and simulation of power electronic circuits and PCBs for battery testing and BMS applications.
- Support CAD modeling and run structural and thermal simulations (FEA/CFD) for mechanical components.
- Contribute to electrochemical modeling and validation using PyBaMM or COMSOL.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary R&D teams and document technical insights clearly.

- Stipend: This is an unpaid internship; however, it offers significant hands-on experience and potential for a full-time role based on performance.
