Role Description
As a Research and Development Chemist(Polymer Science graduate/Postgraduate)
, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and refining chemical formulations for the paper and paperboard industry. Key tasks include conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing results, supporting product development, and ensuring quality control. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Vagra, providing the opportunity to contribute directly to innovation and product advancements in a hands-on capacity.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Laboratory Skills
- 1-2 years experience in Research and Development (R&D) and developing innovative solutions.
- Fresh candidates may also appl and may be considered as a trainee polymer scientiist.
- Knowledge of Coatings and their applications in industrial processes
- Familiarity with Quality Control procedures and protocols for chemical manufacturing
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Polymer science iChemstry or a related field
- Prior experience in the paper or specialty chemicals industry is advantageous
