Company Description
KX9 is a full-stack nutraceutical R&D and custom manufacturing company. We develop protein supplements, functional foods, and nutraceutical formulations for brands across India, Canada, USA, Europe, and the Middle East.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mohali, Punjab, for a Research and Development (R&D) Assistant. The R&D Assistant will support scientific research and product development by conducting experiments, compiling and analyzing data, and documenting findings. The role also involves ensuring laboratory protocols are followed, maintaining research equipment, and collaborating with team members to optimize product formulations and processes.
Role Overview, Requirements, and Qualifications:
- In-person role, execution-heavy role in our Mohali factory. Mon-Sat, 9.30am - 6pm. (We are a startup and currently we all work on saturday's as well)
- Bachelors or Diploma in Food Science / Food Technology / Chemistry / Nutrition / Biotechnology / Biochemistry. (Final year students are accepted)
- Execute formulations with precision; Weighing, mixing, blending, basic encapsulation techniques.
- Must assist in taste trials and sensory evaluation.
- Assist in Sample preparation, customer feedback, and sample dispatch.
- Excellent Communication skills for collaboration, reporting, and documentation
- Maintain SOPs and batch records, sample logs, formulation iterations accurately through our internal software.
Nice to Haves
- Prior Lab Experience, proficiency in Laboratory Skills, including equipment handling, experiment execution, and quality control
- Demonstrated competency in conducting thorough Research to support projects
- Familiarity with natural and plant-based product development preferred
